Pat Harris
For more than 40 years, Pat Harris served as an invaluable contributor to the success of McDonald’s Corporation. In her role as Global Chief Diversity Officer, Pat led the evolution of the company’s diversity and inclusion function. She documented its origins and transformational effect within McDonald’s in her book “None of us is as good as all of us: How McDonald’s prospers by embracing inclusion and diversity.” Pat is the Founder & CEO of the TBS Learning & Tennis Center which offers youth the opportunity to learn in a trusting, safe, and nurturing environment. The Center’s educational leadership program is designed to provide a positive, productive, and fun-loving environment. Pat is a former Board Chair for the Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance (MFHA).
Catalina Ganis
Catalina has over 30 years of strategic recruiting experience in hospitality and consumer-based industries. As a senior member of The Elliot Group, Catalina helps to spearhead client development, long range strategic planning and is also responsible for managing senior-level executive search assignments. Catalina possesses a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. She has worked in various management positions in food and beverage and rooms division with Hilton’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel and InterContinental Hotels Corporation. Catalina began her career in hospitality executive search in 1987, and rapidly began her ascent at Elliot, holding multiple corporate positions. Catalina is a former Board Chair of the Multicultural Foodservice and Hospitality Alliance (MFHA).
Salvador Mendoza
Mendoza is responsible for the development of short and long-term strategies in the areas of workforce, leadership development, community partnerships and NBCUniversal’s Employee Resource Groups, with a focus on enhancing the company’s diverse and inclusive environment. In addition, he is responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with local, regional and national diverse organizations. Sal is considered an expert in the field of diversity & inclusion and holds several leadership positions in many Advisory Boards, among them, the American Red Cross, the Center for Asian Pacific American Women, The Female Collaborative, and the National Hispanic Corporate Council. Born in Honduras and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Mendoza’s adjustment to a new culture and environment created an incredibly formative experience that shaped his passion for diversity & Inclusion. Sal received a B.S. from Chicago State University and M.S. from Governors State University.
